Salted Codfish (Bakalao) fillet boneless excellent for frying with skordalia (garlic sauce), baked in the oven, or used in your favorite soup recipes. Check out our recipe section for recipes that use bakalaos.
Note: Salted Codfish (Bakalao) fillet boneless-some pieces may contain bones.
Ingredients: Cod fish, Salt.
Instructions: cut up fish in approximate 4 inches by 4 inches. Place cut up fish in large pot and cover with water to unsalt for at least 24 hours. Place in refrigerator. Change the water 3 times in the process. Use your own method to bread this fish and fry in olive oil. This fish may be baked in the oven or used in your favorite soup recipes.
